Adding and Editing

Posting directions:

It's so easy to post on a Wiki.  First, just click on the "Edit page" icon (it's up there right under the name of the Wiki page).  Once you're on the Editing page, just scroll down to the "Add your activities here" section -- and add your material.  Here's the different ways you can add data:

1.  Just click on the spot where you want to type and type.

2.  If your activity/lesson plan is in a Word Document, you can attach that file as a link.  First click on the page where you want the file to appear.  Then click on "Attach file" above and follow these 2 easy steps:

1. select your file in browse/обзор then click on Load

2. your file should show up on the list in bold lettering -- click on OK and ta da! Your file should appear on the page like this XYZ activity.doc

3.  You can also cut and paste from a Word Document. (If you get a pop-up asking you "Разрешить...?" the answer is Yes/Разрешить.  If you get another pop-up asking you if you want to Clean the Word Document, choose Отмена.  Then, if it asks you again "Разрешить...?" the answer is Yes/Разрешить.  It seems like a lot of steps, but it isn't -- and it's a lot easier than retyping your text.)

4.  You can create a new Wiki page and then create a link to it on the page you are posting on. If you would like to do this, and aren't quite sure how -- please contact me -- I'll be happy to help you with it!

5.  If your authentic material is a website, you can embed a link to that site in your activity directions.  Just type the name of the site, for example, Got Milk? TV Commericial.  Then highlight that name.  Then click on "Link" above.  Select "Link Type" URL.  Then paste in the URL address (www...).  Then click on OK.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me (Toni).  I'll be happy to help (but remember, I myself am learning this as we go along!!!)

Oh, and of course, when you've added everything you want to add -- click on

Save

(in the bottom-left-hand corner).
