I. Billy the dog

Billy's owner was so desperate to get rid of him that he stuffed the dog into a bag and chucked him onto pile of rubbish sacks. If he hadn't been fund, Billy ould have starved to death. When we rescued him, Billy was so weak that he couldn't even lift his head or crawl out of the open bag. The vet told us that Billy had been starved for so long that he probably wouldn't live. Nevertheless we continued trying, and very slowly Billy began to recover. Eventually we were able to find him a new loving home.

II. What 3 pounds a month buy

Your 3 pounds a month will help the RSPCA recruit, train and equip more inspectors. At the moment there are only 314 inspectores working 4 hours a day.
Your 3 pounds a month will lp the RSPCA build and run animal shelters where abandoned animals find safety; where the beaten and tortured recieve veterinay care; and where teh neglected and ignored find love.
Your 3 pouns a month will help the RSPCA train more education oficers for the community, to make sure that fewer animals suffer neglect because their owners have never been told how to care for the themproperly.
Your 3 pounds a month could me difference between life and death for more animals like Billy.

III. You have to kill a whole elephant to get a little ivory

The road to extinction is paved with ivory bracelets, rings and carvings. All beautiful. All deadly. Every day in Africa, 143 elephants are slaughtered. At this rate, they'll be wiped out in 25 years. Unless you help now. First, don't buy ivory, new or old. And alert evryone you know. Then, support the World Wildlife Fund's elephant campaign.We are the only group actively working with local people across Africa to stop poaching and save elephant lands.
